Fortnite World Cup

In 2019, Epic Games took the online aspects of Fortnite’s competitive gaming experience and introduced those into a live arena setting to showcase the spectacle that is competitive E-Sports. Fuse partnered with Far Right Productions to create a truly one of a kind touring multi-city live event.

Challenge

Provide an unparalleled in-arena video wall with over 100 concurrent game players on over 1800 LED tiles.

What We Did

We created a media server flypack that could handle over 100 concurrent feeds and delivered them to the large in arena LED walls we erected.

Results

The goal set out by Far Right Productions was to make an audience in a live arena feel like they were inside of the Fortnite game. Fuse was able to deliver the high quality video aspects for the designs and visuals to help create this world, which became the most-watched competitive gaming event.
